Complaints Board for Mechanical and Electrical Installations (Ankenævnet for Tekniske Installationer)
The Complaint Board for Mechanical and Electrical Installations is a body established by the Danish Consumer Council, Detached Owners Association and the Technical Installers Organisation.
The Board handles complaints from consumers regarding electrical and plumbing installations. The monetary value of the complaint must be between DKK 2,000 and DKK 150,000 including VAT. There is a fee payable of DKK 300.
Consumers can complaint about all aspects of plumbing and electrical service installations, excluding the list below:
- Corporate costing and similar internal business principles including customer hourly rates and material prices.
- Pure material supply without corresponding installation.
- White goods and electrical appliances including shop goods.
