National Association for Consumer Protection in Hungary (Országos Fogyasztóvédelmi Egyesület)
The National Association for Consumer Protection in Hungary is the only nongovernmental organisation for consumer protection covering all of Hungary. An important task of the associations activity is to promote consumer awareness and education in order to prevent problems. By the middle of the 1990's there were already eighteen nation-wide civil advisory offices with consumer information and thousands of consumer claims. The membership of NACPH comprises regional consumer groups in all the counties and local consumer groups in several cities of Hungary.
