Luxembourg ECC
The role of the European Consumer Centre EIG in Luxembourg is to inform, advise and assist consumers with regard to procuring goods on a cross-border basis. The EIG is also required to provide information to consumers with regard to European law and European policies determined on their behalf by the European Commission, as well as to inform the Commission of the difficulties experienced by consumers within the internal market. The Centre offers the consumers also the additional opportunity to resolve their dispute outside a court of law, by means of mediation organisations.
