General Council of Spanish Lawyers
The General Council of Spanish Lawyers (CGAE) is the representative body, coordinator and senior executive of the Bars in Spain and has, for all purposes, the status of public body with legal personality.
There are bar associations in each of the regions in Spain. Lawyers must be registered with the bar association in order for them to practice. The General Council of Spanish Lawyers is the representative body of the region's bar associations.
